Provinces and territories are able to nominate applicants from the Express Entry pool  who meet labour market needs in a particular province who intend to live in a particular province and wish to become Canadian permanent residents.

Each province has specific requirements and different target groups which include, but are not limited to the following:

• students
• business people
• skilled workers
• semi-skilled workers
